Our mission is to:
"Invite, educate, and take pride in placing creation first."
The goals of the Green Team are:
- Through example, inspire and ignite a green passion for stewardship of God’s creation in the church and community.
- Communicate how to use fewer resources in our church and community by following the Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle guidelines.
- Measure church’s ecological footprint; reduce and challenge community to do same.
- Provide educational Green workshops and field trips.
We meet the last Monday of each month, 6:30 p.m. in Chapel Lounge. Green Team seeks to benefit the congregation and broader community members. All are welcome who have an interest in reducing our ecological footprint! Come join us!
