If we were able to take a second to let the noise of life around us subside, we might then be able to hear the call of how we can make a difference in the lives of those around us. How we might be able to help a child grow closer to God. Feed the hungry. Comfort those in sorrow. Invite someone to worship. In that quiet moment we might be able to hear how we are being called. We are blessed to be a part of a worshipping community that continues to answer the call and minister to the needs of our community and our world around us.
